PR-1300 and PR-1500 polyester mastics deliver a performance profile consistent with competitive unsaturated polyester mastic resins in industrial and construction applications.
With tensile strength around 44 ± 5 MPa and flexural strength near 85 ± 10 MPa for PR-1300, and HDT approximately 75 ± 5 °C, these mastics compare favorably against typical market formulations, which often range from moderate to high mechanical resistance depending on filler and resin content. PR-1500’s faster gel time, higher solid content, and lower viscosity facilitate easier handling and application on varied substrates.
Although some high-performance systems (e.g., vinyl ester-modified mastics or specialized filled compositions) may exceed specific metrics such as HDT or chemical resistance, the PR-1300/PR-1500 products offer a strong balance of mechanical strength, curing behavior, and processability at competitive production cost. This makes them suitable choices for general-purpose sealing, bonding, and gap-filling applications in marine, construction, and industrial contexts where economic efficiency and reliable cure are required.
